Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

If you still haven't tried the 99cents jjajangmyun, go and try it! I asked the owner when this promotion is ending and he said there was no timeline yet. You can't beat the price but now they charge a mandatory $1 tip each time you order b/c I guess ppl were being cheap and not tipping which is messed up. I went this time on a Thursday night and it's definitely not as bad as going on a Friday night. Also try the tangsuyok or the sweet and sour pork which is crispy and has enough meat on it to satisfy me. One of my friends tried the more expensive jjanjangmyun which was like $9 for the seafood type but it's not that good and it's pretty salty.

For .99 cent jja jang myun, you really can't go wrong. But this place, the food is just wrong... It doesn't taste Korean, or even Chinese. The jja jang is watery. The jjam pong is not the jjam pong i sometimes dream about. The tang soo yuk and kkang poong gwi tastes almost westernized and lacks the traditional flavoring one may grow accustomed too. The .99cent deal is sort of a scam. In reality they charge you $2.00. $1.00 for food and $1.00 for tip. On the plus side, its very new and modern inside. Bathrooms are clean. Its still cheap food. It fills the tummy and its healthier than Mcdonalds. Try it~

service was pretty good considering the wait staff did not speak a word of english to us. i understood some from my long days and nights of watching koreans soap. food was ok. not spectacular. strawberry blond boy had seafood jae jian myun. he was happy that the sauce was black (authentic korean). i had kimchi beef fried rice. nothing to write home about. we just wanted to stuff our faces before going into an asian grocery store. i would recommend trying the food court inside Lotte Supermarket. Cheaper and more variety. They did offer to refill the pickled daikon frequently tho.

yes, jjajangmyun is a dollar yes, they charge a mandatory $1 tip for each bowl. what i don't understand is that they have a $1 bowl and a $9 bowl on the menu. im pretty sure it can't taste THAT much different, so for people who go there ordering the $9 bowl, i don't understand. the service here SUCKS! maybe they see a group of college-young adults come in and assume they're just going to order the $1 bowls. yes, it's true! but that doesn't mean they have to keep you waiting 5-10 minutes just to take the order and 15-20 minutes for the food to come out. the inside is pretty nice and the location is pretty convenient. right off the highway and in the same shopping center with lotte. this is NOT a place where you want to take your date.. maybe if they didn't have that hugeeeee sign in the front advertising the $1 jjm... you can get away with it. even though i gave this place 2 stars and i've only been to this place 3 times..i think i will come back because it's so cheap. im sure there are a lot of people in the same boat as me where they'll drive that +20 min to eat a couple bowls of jjajjangmyun for $2, but once this special goes away, i dont know how long they will last
